About ublues network

ublues network is a music, education and events company founded by core members Danny Loong and Trevor Jalla and provides live performance and studio work, consultation and production for branding and music, cultural and educational events, songwriting and composition, music and creative thinking education and PR and marketing consultation.

The main products of the company are the ublues band and ublues fest. The Inaugural Universal Blues Festival 2000 was organised and held in Australia. ublues band brings together different "blues" elements of delta, Chicago and swing blues, with elements of folk, funk, soul and jazz, they also promote their message of cross-cultural friendships through music and a new Asian voice in global arts. Their debut album "Get on the blues train", has receive international rave reviews and acclaim. Born of ublues network, ublues performs in various formats - from acoustic solo/duo to 6 piece electric. They have worked in theatre and music productions, and education, presenting seminars and workshops at tertiary institutions in Singapore and Australia. The band has recently appeared at the Singapore Arts Festival 2001 and 2002 the inaugural Chijmes Sunday Blues Series co-organised by ublues network.

About Caldwell Arts Entertainment

Conceived by the Events and Promotions arm of Chijmes Investment Pte Ltd in 1998, Caldwell Arts Entertainment was formed primarily to established talent networks across the rest of the world. Its vision is to bridged all talents across nations and move towards the borderless world of entertainment. Besides programming concert series, festivals and musicals, Caldwell Arts Entertainment is looking beyond the cloister wall of Chijmes to provide an alternative experience for its audiences. Caldwell Arts will be developing three dinner theatre series for Chijmes Hall, scheduled in the months of April, August and December. This will showcase popular musicals from screen and stage and titles from both Off-Broadway and Broadway. Late Night Entertainment Series will be introduced for audience seeking an alternative to night pubs and late-night movies. This will feature "Fly-By-Night" surprise guest artiste and local celebrity entertainment with twist.
